Really clean and transparent sea💓

The weather in Phi Phi Island in May was very hot.  

The sunlight pierced my skin like needles, and when I returned from my trip, my skin had darkened. 

Comparison of the weather in Korea and Phi Phi: In May, Korea is warm and refreshing. The weather starts to get hotter, and sometimes you might sweat while walking in korea may. However, after I visited Phi Phi in May, I felt cold in korea ;) 

Koreans living in Korea said the weather was hot, but compared to Phi Phi Island, Korea felt very cool.  

The temperature in Phi Phi Island is above 34 degrees Celsius. When visiting Phi Phi Island, I recommend bringing more sunscreen that doesn't easily wash off with sweat.  

Anyway, the sunscreen will easily come off due to seawater and your sweat, and your skin will darken.  

But you'll find that it's worth enduring such inconveniences. Accommodation review:  I can't disclose the name of the accommodation, but it was not satisfactory. 

Despite the high ratings left by previous guests, The place was old, and there were small ants crawling on the bed. 

I didn't mind that much, but the water flow from the showerhead was too weak when taking a shower.  

I recommend choosing an accommodation priced above $30

Scuba Diving Review  This was my first diving experience.  

So, I chose the Discovery Scuba Diving course for beginners, which cost $100.  

The actual amount may vary depending on the exchange rate on the day. 

After about 30 minutes of training in the diving company's pool, we experienced two dives over half a day.  

I couldn't swim at all and was afraid of water. Despite having ADHD symptoms that affect my concentration, it was very easy, and the instructors were excellent.  I went scuba diving with a Korean instructor. 

In reality, I dived down to a depth of about 3 5m, but it felt like I had descended nearly 10m. Everything was beautiful, and I felt like I was f loating in the middle of the universe.  

The marine life was even more enormous than I had imagined. And they floated around like stars. 

I think the feeling of weightlessness must be similar to this.  

In the midst of this dreamlike time, I saw the dark space and sandy bottom beneath my feet. It was scary but also incredibly beautiful, and my heart was at peace.

For those who want to experience scuba diving:  

Scuba diving is not as difficult or dangerous as you might think.

With a diving suit and fins, you can easily float with minimal effort, and your diving instructor will ensure your safety. 

It is an incredibly beautiful experience.  If the sea around where you live is too cold, murky, or has strong currents, make sure to try scuba diving when you visit Koh Phi Phi.  

The water here is crystal clear and not too cold. Explore a slightly different world. Book in advance through a scuba diving company.  

During peak season, reservations may be fully booked, and you need to consider the schedule of the boat accompanying the scuba divers. 

We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance.

Here's a brief explanation of the other things I did in Phi Phi Island besides scuba diving, along with the total cost and a few precautions needed for the trip. 

• 1. Flight from Bangkok to Phuket - $100 (It's less than $100 during the off-season. However, I didn't carry any large luggage separately; I just put my camera tripod and 3-4 days' worth of clothes in a small backpack. This means the price excludes luggage fees.) 2. Transportation from Phuket to the pier - Less than $10 (I used a motorcycle taxi) 
• 3. Round-trip boat fare to Koh Phi Phi - Less than $20 
• 4. Accommodation in Koh Phi Phi for 3 days - $50 (If you are sensitive to bugs or hygiene conditions, choose a better place to stay.) 
• 5. Food expenses in Koh Phi Phi - Less than $60 per person (Think about $10 per meal. Of course, you can enjoy it for even less. I tend not to eat breakfast, so I spent about $60 over 3 days) 
• 6. Scuba diving cost - $100. I was personally very satisfied, so I provided a tip of about $15 to the instructor. (Tipping is not mandatory. It's your choice) 
• 7. At night, while staying on the beach, I watched the festival while drinking cocktails, and one day I went to a bar to watch boxing and Muay Thai. (Visitors can participate in boxing, while Muay Thai is performed by Muay Thai fighters) Cocktails were $4-5 each. Total cost: $50. (over 3 days) 
• 8. please note that during the peak season, flight prices may be more expensive. One thing to keep in mind is that when using low-cost airlines, it can be difficult to change dates or cancel your booking, and refunds may take several months to process.

Total: $390 for 3 nights and 4 days. If you improve the quality of accommodation and meals and enjoy other tourist courses on this island, it is expected to cost an additional $100 or more

A night on Phi Phi

• 1. If you come to Koh Phi Phi, I strongly recommend scuba diving. 
• 2. In the middle of the island, there is a bar where you can watch boxing and Muay Thai. 3. At night, there are many festivals and things to see on the beach. 
• 4. I recommend choosing accommodation priced above $30. 
• 5. The Discovery Scuba Diving course for beginners costs around $100 and includes two dives over half a day. 
• 6. For those who are not familiar with swimming and diving, the instructors will kindly explain everything. 
• 7.Luggage fees are not included in the flight price mentioned. 
• 8.If you are sensitive to hygiene conditions, consider choosing better accommodations. While Phi Phi Island boasts a wide range of sights and adventure courses apart from scuba diving, in my personal opinion, I believe that 3 days is sufficient for visiting and exploring this destination
